Objective

We have partnered with BMW Bangladesh for years with a mission to solidify its position in the automotive industry as the preferred choice for luxury vehicles and establish its presence across social media platforms. Leveraging BMW’s global appeal, we took the challenge of aligning the brand with the evolving expectations of Bangladeshi customers who demand the best. Taking a human-centered, creativity-driven approach, the intent was to go beyond simply setting them apart, positioning them as innovators leading the way and setting new standards.

Home to many of the most beautiful and busiest locations in the world, the presence of the stunning BMW X Series in Bangladesh takes center stage through a unique photo series campaign ‘X Marks the Spot’. Conceptualized, planned, and executed by COdesign Ltd for BMW Bangladesh, this campaign remarkably highlights the X Series and celebrates the diverse landscapes and intersections in Bangladesh- from the heights of a 99m bridge to the heart of the bustling capital, from vibrant river ports to the lush green tea gardens.

This masterful blend of concept and design transcends conventional advertising, capturing audience attention and inspiring them to embark on their own journeys, creating new stories and living every day to the fullest.

The Power of Heritage

COdesign wins Muse Creative Awards Gold Statuette for ‘Language of Light’, BMW Bangladesh’s tribute to International Mother Language Day. In 2023, BMW Bangladesh aimed to pay tribute to the significance of International Mother Language Day.

To achieve this, the COdesign creative team came together with a sense of shared passion for storytelling through design. By skillfully positioning the lights to illuminate the front of the new BMW i7 at just the right angle, we mirrored the contours of the timeless Shaheed Minar, symbolizing the mother with her fallen sons. This subtle detail, etched onto the kidney grille, represents the BMW logo as the rising Sun. The reveal of the content immediately resonated with the audience, capturing the hearts of millions and evoking a sense of awe and patriotism. The stunning illusion served as a breathtaking tribute that pays homage to the enduring legacy of the language movement while honoring BMW's brand ethos, ultimately earning COdesign the prestigious Muse Awards in 2023 for Viral Marketing on Social Media.
