UX Strategy & Interface Design Leadership

• Own the UX/UI direction for projects, translating business goals and user insights into clear, effective experience strategies.
• Lead the design of user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interfaces.
• Balance user needs, technical constraints, and brand objectives to deliver cohesive, scalable solutions.
• Plan, conduct, and synthesize usability testing; translate findings into measurable design improvements.

• Champion design consistency through the use and evolution of design systems and brand guidelines.

• Review and refine design outputs to ensure pixel-perfect execution and production readiness.
• Drive efficient design iteration cycles, reducing rework and improving approval timelines.
• Ensure accessibility standards (WCAG) are met and integrated into all design decisions.

Craft, Detail & Execution

• Oversee accurate and comprehensive design handoffs, including specifications, assets, and annotations.
• Ensure all deliverables are free from usability, accessibility, or visual defects before development.
• Define and refine microinteractions, UI states, and motion behaviors for polished, intuitive experiences.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation for components, patterns, and design systems.

Innovation, Impact & Continuous Improvement

• Proactively identify opportunities to improve user experience, workflows, and design processes.
• Introduce emerging tools, methodologies, and design trends to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Measure and communicate the impact of design decisions on usability, engagement, and business outcomes.
• Contribute to internal innovation initiatives, design sprints, and cross-functional workshops.
• Help evolve COdesign’s design systems and UX practices through experimentation and strategic thinking.

Leadership, Mentorship & Collaboration

• Act as a design leader within project teams, guiding decisions and advocating for user-centered outcomes.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers through feedback, reviews, and hands-on collaboration.
• Foster a culture of critique, learning, and shared ownership of design quality.
• Collaborate deeply with strategy, content, and development partners to elevate the overall creative output.
• Share knowledge, frameworks, and best practices to strengthen team-wide design maturity.

• 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design roles, with demonstrated ownership of complex digital products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing strategic thinking, user-centered problem solving, and high-quality visual design.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma (and/or Adobe XD, Sketch), including component-driven workflows and prototyping.
• Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards (WCAG), interaction design, and usability principles.
• Proven experience collaborating with developers and working within agile or sprint-based environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders and clients.

• Experience with motion design, microinteractions, or advanced prototyping (After Effects, Principle, ProtoPie).
• Strong background in building, scaling, and maintaining design systems.
• Hands-on experience with UX research methods and usability testing.
• Familiarity with analytics and behavioral tools (Hotjar, GA, Mixpanel) to inform design decisions.
• Interest or experience in emerging digital experiences (AI-assisted design, 3D, AR/VR).
